A 21 year old blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Regal's Royal Salute range, in a brown Spode decanter made by Chivas Brothers. It was created to celebrate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, and comes in a brown velvet presentation bag. Royal Salute was first made in 1953 and is named after the 21 gun salute. Its home is said to be the Strathisla distillery. The nose combines char, ash and wood smoke with orange and lemon peel, honey, chocolate-coated raisins, spicy tobacco and apple compote spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg.
