Chivas Ultis is the first blended malt from Chivas Regal, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Master Blender Sandy Hyslop created it in honour of his five predecessors at Chivas Regal.
It combines five single malts: Tormore, Longmorn, Strathisla, Allt-a-Bhainne and Braeval. Less than 1% of the casks in the Chivas inventory were used, each one hand-selected and nosed individually.
The nose is rich, with peach, red apple, cinnamon, fudge and honey. The palate is smooth and vanilla-led, with clementine, apricot, soft caramel, cloves and ginger. The finish is bold, with hints of heather.
