Chivas Regal XV is a 15 year old blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in French oak casks, with a portion finished in cognac casks.
The whisky is fruity, with sultana and cinnamon notes and a velvety texture.
On the nose there are stewed red apples, orange marmalade, honey, cinnamon and juicy sultanas. The palate is smooth and fruity, with poached pears, butterscotch and caramel toffees. The finish is rounded, with a touch of vanilla.
