An 18 year old Speyside single malt from Longmorn, bottled independently by Chorlton Whisky.
It was matured in a bourbon barrel rather than the sherry casks more often associated with Longmorn.
The nose brings butter, dried apricots and leather, then green apple and waxy mandarins. The palate is very creamy, with fudge, toffee and lemon posset. The finish carries dark chocolate and coffee candy.
