Cihuatan Nantli 2004 (70cl, 40%)

A single vintage rum from El Salvador, distilled in 2004 and bottled at 40% vol. in a 700 ml bottle for the 20th anniversary of Licorera Cihuatán. It is a blend of rums aged for at least 20 years in new, medium-charred American oak casks, limited to 3,500 bottles worldwide, with 180 bottles available in Germany. The palate shows milk chocolate, oak, spices, leather and vanilla. Aromatically and on the palate it also offers buttery toffee, brown sugar, butter biscuits and roasted almonds, with a mild profile suited to sipping.
