Clan Campbell 12 Years Old is a twelve-year-old Scotch whisky bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is rich and sweet, with strong sherry character, raisins, dried figs and walnuts, plus vanilla, toffee, baked sponge, orange peel and a little dry heather. The palate starts sweet and malty, with baked apple, ripe banana and dark chocolate, then cinnamon and clove from the oak, and a very soft smoke alongside coffee and mocha.
The finish is medium to long and turns dry, leaving brown sugar, nuts and a slight saltiness.
