Clan Campbell The Noble Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

A Scotch whisky from Clan Campbell, distilled, matured and bottled in Scotland and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle by Muir Mackenzie & Co Ltd of Kilwinning. The Clan Campbell name is accompanied by a clan history reaching back to 1266. The nose is light, sweet and fruity, with malted cereal, honey, caramel and vanilla, fresh apple, pear and sweet orange, and a faint floral and sweet wood note. The palate is light to medium in body and slightly oily, with creamy toffee and apple, then mild nutmeg and pepper. The finish is short to medium and clean, with lingering sweetness and a very faint smoky warmth.
