Clan Colla 11 Year Old Blended Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Clan Colla 11 Year Old Blended Irish Whiskey is part of the Family Bond Series from Ahascragh Distillers. It blends double-distilled malt whiskey with grain whiskey, is aged for 11 years and is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is triple-casked in ex-Bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry butts and peated casks, which bring honeyed sweetness and sherry influence together with salted citrus, toasted oak, an earthy note and a thread of peat smoke. The nose is earthy, with toasted oak and a subtle smokiness. The palate combines honey sweetness, salted citrus, sherry, mature oak and gentle malt. The finish is deep and rounded, with oak, honey, sherry and a wisp of peat smoke.
