Clan MacGregor is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1980s, bottled at 43%. It was blended and bottled by Alexander MacGregor & Company of Glasgow and named in honour of the MacGregor clan. The label carries the Lion's Head, the personal crest of the 24th Clan Chief, Sir Gregor MacGregor. The blend combines 15 malt whiskies with selected grain whiskies, and Kininvie is said to be the main malt in it. Tasting notes describe a floral nose with pine, beeswax, vanilla, malt and citrus. The palate opens sweet with caramel and honey, then moves to pipe tobacco and cereal grain. The finish is clean and sweet, with malt and a little peat.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
