Clan MacGregor is a blended Scotch whisky at 40% ABV, blended and bottled by Alexander MacGregor & Company of Glasgow. It combines 15 malt whiskies with selected grain whiskies, and Kininvie is said to be the main malt. The bottle carries the Lion's Head, the crest of Sir Gregor MacGregor, 24th Clan Chief.
The nose is grainy and cracker-like, with floral notes, pine, beeswax, vanilla and citrus. The palate opens sweet with caramel and honey, then moves to pipe tobacco and cereal grain. The finish is clean and sweet, with malt and a little peat.
