Clonakilty Crossroads Imperial Stout Cask Finish (70cl, 57.2%)

This is a Clonakilty single malt from West Cork, Ireland, made in collaboration with Crossroads Ales & Lagers of Peiting. Bourbon-matured single malt was given an 18-month finish in two imperial stout casks, and the edition runs to 714 bottles. It is bottled at a cask strength of 57.2% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. Malt and grapefruit meet dark chocolate, clove and marzipan on the nose. The palate combines citrus and cacao nibs with malt, toasted wood and spice. The finish is long, with dark chocolate and bright fruit lingering.
