A blended Scotch whisky from Cluny, bottled in the 1970s at 43% ABV. The blend is made from more than 30 malt and grain whiskies.
The nose is soft peat smoke with aged wood, dried fruit, vanilla and a faint medicinal edge, along with touches of leather and toffee.
The palate starts with peat and oak, then moves to a mellow sweetness of caramel, spice and light grain. The finish is smooth and warming, with lingering smoke, spice and a faint nutty bitterness.
