Clyde May's Alabama Style Whiskey comes from Conecuh Ridge Distillery and is bottled at 85 proof, or 42.5% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. It is named after Clyde May, who made his first spirits in 1946; the distilling operation became legal in 2001.
The mashbill is 55% corn, 30% rye and 15% barley. The whiskey is aged for six to seven years in oak barrels and finished with a hint of apple. It is the Official State Spirit of Alabama.
