Clyde May's Conecuh Ridge is an apple-finished American whiskey, bottled at 42.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It follows the practice of Clyde May, an Alabama moonshiner from Conecuh County, who put oven-dried apples into charred oak barrels. The whiskey is distilled in Indiana from a mashbill of 55% corn, 30% rye and 15% malted barley. It is aged for six to seven years in oak and bottled in Auburndale, Florida. The nose offers green apple, cinnamon, allspice and hazelnut. The palate is rounded and buttery, with cinnamon, rye spice, vanilla and apple. The finish is medium to long, with dry leather, clove and a touch of apple sweetness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
