This is a single cask Clynelish, distilled on 14 March 2016 and bottled on 1 April 2026 after ten years in a first-fill American bourbon hogshead. The cask gave 284 bottles of 70cl, at a natural cask strength of 55.4%.
Brave New Spirits released it within Cask Masters, in the Distiller's Cut series. It is non-chill-filtered and natural colour, and the labels take their inspiration from kirigami, the Japanese art of paper cutting.
Vanilla, coconut and lemon peel open the nose, with beeswax, quince, honeycomb and sea salt. The palate is full, with quince, honey cake, sea salt and candle wax. The finish is long and clear, with wax and citrus fading slowly.
