This is a single cask Clynelish, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026 after ten years in a first fill bourbon hogshead. It is part of the Cask Masters series from Brave New Spirits. It was bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.4% without chill filtration, and it is made from 100% malted barley. The bourbon wood is credited with its vanilla and sweet character. The nose combines sweet vanilla and soft heather with a light touch of caramel. On the palate, creamy toffee and caramel lead, with a precise note of wood. The finish carries vanilla and caramel, with dry wood to close.
