This is a 14 year old Clynelish from the Highlands, bottled by the Italian independent bottler Hidden Spirits for its Pop-People Collection. The colourful label is by Minea. The whisky was distilled in January 2012, matured in a single hogshead and bottled in March 2026. Clynelish is known for a distinctive, waxy character, and this bottling pairs the maritime side of the distillery with gentle wood spice. The nose opens with seaweed and heather over sweet vanilla and bright citrus. The palate has an oily texture carrying spicy honey and mild wood. The finish is long, with a fine mineral structure.
