Clynelish 14 Year Old is a Scotch single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Clynelish is said to sit closer to an Island style than most mainland malts, with a fragrant nose and a long, fresh-fruity finish. This 14-year-old is a lighter-bodied whisky, suited to drinking before a meal.
The nose shows scented candle wax once water is added, then dried flowers on a beach and later brown sugar. The palate is creamy with a maritime character, and the finish is salty and dryish, with a slight bitterness.
