Clynelish – 17 Year Old The Manager's Dram 1998 Release (75cl, 61.8%)

This is a sherried Clynelish 17 year old Highland single malt, bottled in 1998 at a cask strength of 61.8%. It comes in a 75cl bottle. It was released by United Distillers & Vintners, a forerunner of Diageo, in the Managers Dram series. The casks for that series were chosen by the company's distillery managers, and the bottles were available only to staff and VIPs. The whisky would have been distilled around 1980 or 1981, and it was bottled at the end of 1998. It is regarded as one of the best known bottlings in the Managers Dram series.
