This is a 35 year old Clynelish from the Highlands, matured in a single bourbon barrel. It was distilled on 4 May 1990 and bottled on 23 May 2025 by Signatory Vintage for Symington's Choice, within its Cask Strength Collection.
Barrel 3505 gave 63 bottles at 40.6%, in a 70cl bottle supplied in a metal tin. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose combines ripe tropical fruit and candied citrus peel with a waxy note, light oak, vanilla cream and dried hay. The palate is mild, with grilled pineapple, toffee and waxy malt. The finish is long and dry, with grapefruit, toasted wood and a trace of almond oil.
