Clynelish – 1993 30 Year Old Dalswinton Series Second Edition

This thirty-year-old Clynelish was distilled on 20 October 1993 and bottled in autumn 2024 after maturing in a bourbon barrel. It is the Second Edition of the Dalswinton Series, following the First Edition of winter 2021/22. Each bottle was engraved by hand with a story from the Dalswinton Estate, written by the artist Jamie Stryker, and comes in a wooden frame. The nose has Scottish tablet and vanilla fudge, waxed fruit and vanilla pods. The palate is elegant, finely sweet and lightly herbal, with Clynelish's waxy fruitiness and mild oak. The finish brings a hint of tobacco, freshly baked bread and a gentle spiciness.
