The whisky matured in two ex-bourbon barrels, numbers 800229 and 800233, and yielded 404 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The notes include ex-bourbon character, malt and vanilla, with citrus and light fruit. Oak spice and a waxy note round it out.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
