Clynelish – 32 Year Old 1990/2022 Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection Bourbon Barrel #3507

This Clynelish was distilled in May 1990 and matured for 32 years in a single bourbon barrel, number 3507. Signatory Vintage bottled it in October 2022 for its Cask Strength Collection, without chill-filtration and in natural colour. The outturn was 115 bottles. The nose brings ripe apples and sweet malt, with golden honey and the waxy note associated with the distillery. On the palate, floral heather and creamy vanilla lead into a fine pepper spice. The finish shows oak and fades slowly with a light touch of salt.
