This is an 8 year old Clynelish from The Cooper's Choice, part of its Golden Cut Collection. It was distilled in 2018, bottled in 2026 and matured in a single bourbon cask, number 303893.
The nose offers apple peel and candle wax with a salty, coastal note. On the palate there are bright citrus notes of lemon and green apple, with the waxy character and hints of bourbon sitting between zesty fruit and vanilla. The finish brings tropical fruit, more wax and a little spice.
