Collet Blanc de Blancs Champagne (75cl)

Collet Blanc de Blancs is a champagne made entirely from Chardonnay, drawn from six crus, most of them in the Côte des Blancs. It is aged for a minimum of five years in the house's 100-year-old chalk cellars, and comes in a 75cl bottle. Champagne Collet was founded in 1921 by Raoul Collet. Its winemaker, Sebastien Walasiak, blends base wines from many vineyards and several vintages, and the extended ageing gives softer wines that need less dosage. The nose is subtle, with grapefruit and white flowers. The palate is delicate and gradual, with a near-perfect aromatic balance carried into a long finish.
