Collet Champagne Brut (75cl)

A Brut Champagne from the house of Collet, founded in 1921 in Aÿ. It is a blend of Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, drawn from Premier and Grand Cru villages and from several vintages of base wine. The wines are aged well beyond the minimum requirement in 100-year-old chalk cellars, which makes them softer and in need of less dosage. Pinot Meunier brings freshness and fruit, Chardonnay elegance, and Pinot Noir depth and structure. The nose shows toasted brioche with fine citrus notes. The palate is powerful and full-bodied, with great freshness and length.
