Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof Uncut & Unfiltered (75cl, 62.5%)

Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof is a bourbon bottled straight from hand-selected barrels, uncut and unfiltered, at 62.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It recalls the way whiskey was made before Prohibition, when Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. owned Buffalo Trace Distillery, and draws on barrels aged in warehouses built over a century ago under his watch. The nose brings cooked berries, rich caramel and a slightly floral note. The palate is bold and spicy, with toasty vanilla, dried oak and pepper, and the finish is long, with a powerful rye character and lingering fruit.
