This is the 2025 release of Colonel E.H. Taylor Bottled-in-Bond, a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof).
The expression honours Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr., who championed the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. The standard calls for a single distillery and a single distilling season, at least four years of ageing and exactly 100 proof, in a federally bonded, government-supervised warehouse. Each annual release is made to meet those requirements.
