This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky, bottled in bond and at barrel proof. It is Batch 3 of the Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof series, the third annual release, from 2014.
It comes in a 75cl bottle at 64.5% ABV (129.0 proof), which keeps it firmly in cask strength territory. The strength is the natural proof of the barrels in this batch rather than a standardised figure.
