Combier Crème de Framboise

Combier Crème de Framboise is a raspberry liqueur from the Combier distillery in Saumur, in the Loire Valley. It is made from fresh local raspberries and neutral alcohol. The raspberries are processed to keep their natural, fresh character, without artificial additives. The distillery dates from 1834, when Jean-Baptiste Combier and his wife created their orange liqueur in Saumur, and this raspberry liqueur follows in that fruit liqueur tradition. The flavour is vibrant, with the taste of ripe raspberries. It suits a Kir Royale in place of cassis, a Bellini variation, or a float on Champagne or sparkling wine.
