A 10-year-old single cask rum from 2008, blended from rums from Guyana, Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica. The outturn is 400 bottles.
The nose is soft and round, like velvet, with sugar cane, molasses and gingerbread evoking a comforting fireside image. The palate has roundness and character, with clove giving way to fresh sugar cane juice and stronger aromas. The finish is spicy and meaty, with cinnamon, rancio and caramel notes, plus burnt wood almost reduced to charcoal.
