Compagnie des Indes Clarendon 2013 Jamaica Rum (70cl, 59.4%)

A Jamaican rum distilled in 2013 at Clarendon Distillery and bottled in 2021 at 59.4% ABV in a 700ml bottle. It is an 8-year-old single cask limited to 286 bottles. The nose is intensely fruity, with lychee, passion fruit and mint. The palate shows mirabelle and quince, with vanilla and cedar-like wood in the background. The finish has an oily texture with a pleasant note of white chocolate.
