Compass Box Brûlée Royale (2025) (46%)

Brûlée Royale is a 2025 limited release from Compass Box, a blended malt bottled at 46%. It is built around the idea of a dessert in a glass. The blend brings together single malts from a selection of distilleries, matured in first-fill bourbon casks, toasted French oak and experimental dessert-focused casks. The nose offers vanilla custard, brown sugar, warm tarte tatin and citrus zest. On the palate come crème brûlée, honey, candied orange, soft spices and toasted oak. The finish is long, creamy and warm, with a caramel note.
