Compass Box Delilah's XXV (46%)

Compass Box Delilah's XXV is a blended Scotch whisky made to mark the 25th anniversary of Delilah's, the Chicago whisky bar, in collaboration with its owner, Mike Miller. It is built around part of the original Delilah's release, matured for a further five years, with sherried whiskies from Linkwood, Teaninich and an undisclosed distillery, plus Miltonduff malt and Cameronbridge grain whisky. Bottled in 2018 at 46% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration, it was limited to 8,520 bottles. The nose has blackberry, butterscotch, Bourbon biscuits and sweet malt. The palate brings sherried malt, chocolate, praline, vanilla and warming spice, and the finish shows apricot and crisp green apple.
