Compass Box Experimental Grain Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Experimental Grain Whisky is a Compass Box bottling at 46% in a 70cl bottle, limited to 6,142 bottles. It is built around whisky made at the Loch Lomond distillery from peated malted barley and distilled in a Coffey still. Although it is made entirely from malted barley, the column still means it cannot be called a single malt. Its character sets smoke and barbecue notes beside softer, sweeter ones of banana, toffee, pear and vanilla.
