This is a limited edition blended malt from Compass Box, released as the 2016 Extravaganza. The blend draws on whiskies from Clynelish, Teaninich, Benrinnes, Glen Ord, Dailuaine and Allt-a-Bhainne, among others. The nose is warm, with honey, cinnamon, ginger, dried fruit, cloves, toffee and soft oak. On the palate, spice meets creamy sweetness and subtle waxy notes, leading to a long, warming, spicy finish.
