Compass Box Glasgow Blend (2021) (70cl, 43%)

Glasgow Blend is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It combines malt whiskies from Islay and the Highlands, among others, with a little grain whisky. The whisky was matured in American oak and sherry casks. It is described as smoky and lightly sherried, closer to a robust single malt than a classic blend. The nose brings smoke, stewed fruit, spices, leather and light sherry. The palate is full-bodied, with peat smoke, cocoa, dried fruit and spicy wood. The finish is long, warming and smoky, with a little sweetness.
