Compass Box Glasgow Blend is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It was formerly sold as Great King Street Glasgow Blend, and around two-thirds of it is malt whisky.
The current recipe combines grain whisky from Cameronbridge with sherried Speyside malt from near the town of Aberlour, along with Clynelish and Laphroaig. The result is a peaty, sherried blend.
On the palate it is full, bold and smoky, with rich spice and fruitcake notes from sherry cask ageing alongside the maritime punch of Islay malt.
