Glasgow Blend is a blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. About 65% of it is Highland and Islay single malt, combined with Lowland grain whisky.
It is matured in a mix of sherry-seasoned butts, American oak barrels and hogsheads, and custom French oak casks.
The palate is full, rich and smoky, with sticky toffee pudding, sherry character and impressions of a coal fire. It is described as working well alongside rich cheeses and cured meats.
