Compass Box Juveniles (2018)

Juveniles is a blended malt from Compass Box, created for the Parisian wine and whisky bar of the same name. This 2018 edition draws on malts from Strathmill, Glen Elgin, Balmenach and Clynelish, among others. It was matured in a mix of first-fill bourbon casks and French oak. The result is fresh and fruity, with waxy Highland character and soft spice, and no smoke. On the nose there are white peach, green apple, citrus, honey and light floral notes. The palate brings apple, pear, vanilla cream, grape skin and soft spices, and the finish is medium-long, dry and fruity with a little spice.
