Compass Box Menagerie (70cl, 46%)

Menagerie is a limited edition blended malt Scotch whisky from Compass Box, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with 7,741 bottles released. John Glaser blended it, and each creature on the label represents a component of the blend. It combines Mortlach, Glen Elgin, Deanston and Laphroaig with Highland malts aged in French oak. Glen Elgin was matured in sherry butts, bourbon and hogshead, Deanston in sherry butt and hogshead, and Laphroaig in hogshead. The creatures suggest power and grace from Mortlach, tropical fruit and leather from Glen Elgin, damp leaves and herbal notes from Deanston, and an earthy character from Laphroaig.
