Compass Box The Peat Monster (70cl, 46%)

Compass Box The Peat Monster is a smoky blended malt Scotch whisky, made by the independent whisky maker Compass Box from peated Scottish single malts. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The aim is a powerful but balanced whisky in which peat smoke, maritime notes and fresh fruit sit together. The nose brings intense peat smoke, sea air, lemon peel and green apple. On the palate, smoky and slightly medicinal notes meet vanilla, soft malt and spice. The finish is long, warming and smoky, with a fresh touch.
