Compass Box The Spaniard Bottled 2022 (70cl, 43%)

The Spaniard is a Compass Box blended malt Scotch whisky, first released in 2018 and described as the company's ode to sherry cask maturation. This is the 2022 limited release, in a 70cl bottle at 43%. It is made entirely from single malt whiskies, the vast majority of them matured in first fill sherry casks. The gentle bottling strength lets the rich, sweet and spicy sherry character come through.
