Connemara 12 Years is an Irish single malt made from peated malt, which is uncommon in Irish whiskey. Smoke and sweetness sit together, with a soft, creamy undertone.
The nose has peat smoke, gentle citrus, a little honey and fresh green apple. The palate is full and creamy, with toffee, pear and a subtle smokiness. The finish is long and even, with lingering smoke and a light sweetness.
