Copper & Kings Craftwerk The Bruery Black Tuesday Brandy (52%)

This is a pot-distilled American brandy from Copper & Kings, finished in barrels that previously held craft beer. It is bottled at 52% vol, or 104 proof. The brandy spends a full 12 months in the beer barrels, entering them at around 130 proof to draw out as much flavour as possible. It is reduced to bottle strength with only a touch of water, which softens the heat while keeping the beer character intact. It is non-chill filtered, with no added boisé and no caramel colour, so its colour comes naturally from the barrel.
