Golden Wold is the first release in the Cotswolds Distillery Harvest Series, an English single malt made as a limited release. It is a marriage of whiskies from ex-bourbon, ex-red wine and ex-peated whisky casks, inspired by the landscape around the distillery.
The nose offers honey, vanilla and soft peat smoke. On the palate come sweet cream, coconut, oaky spice, cinnamon and vanilla, with wisps of peat smoke that linger into the finish.
