This is a single malt from Cotswolds, the distillery named after a region in the heart of England. It was distilled in 2016, matured in an STR cask (number 705) and bottled at 60.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery stands in the traditional county of Warwickshire and was started by Daniel Szor, a former hedge fund manager from New York. Harry Cockburn, previously master distiller and production director at Bowmore, and Dr Jim Swan, an expert in cask maturation, lent their experience to its set-up.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
