Cotswolds Flaxen Vale Batch 01/2023 is an English single malt, bottled at 53.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Oloroso sherry casks feature in this batch. The Cotswolds distillery takes its name from a region in the heart of England and stands in the traditional county of Warwickshire. It was started by Daniel Szor, a former hedge fund manager from New York. Harry Cockburn, formerly master distiller and production director at Bowmore, and Dr Jim Swan, an expert in cask maturation, lent their experience to setting up the distillery.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
