Cotswolds Harvest Special No. 1 Batch (70cl, 52.5%)

This is a single malt from the Cotswolds Distillery in England, bottled at 52.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is neither coloured nor chill-filtered. The nose brings peaches and cherries with a restrained note of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate there is wildflower honey with waxy orange zest, moving into rich caramel pudding with a pinch of salt, all lightly wrapped in oak smoke. The finish is smooth and of medium length, sweet with a gentle spiciness.
