Cowboy Trail Rye is a Canadian rye whisky made in Alberta by Cowboy Trail Brewery and named after the Cowboy Trail and its western heritage. It is bottled at 43% ABV.
Spicy rye grain sits alongside caramel sweetness, vanilla, toasted oak, dried fruit and warming spice. The nose is spicy rye with toasted oak, caramel and vanilla. On the palate come rye spice, caramel, vanilla, black pepper, clove and a little dried fruit, and the finish is long and warming, with a gentle smoky note.
